NC 2.21: Which standard covers which job

This is the first page of the lesson. Read it and have a go at the activities. The rest is in the full lesson.

60 minutes

Rules written by many hands

A cabling job meets a pile of numbers: BS EN 50173, BS 7671, IEEE 802.3. Each is a standard, a set of rules agreed by experts.

Following them makes work safe, makes it fit with other people's work, and lets the next installer understand it. You need to know which standard answers which question.
