One building, four doors

Host based: look inside each computer
A host based assessment checks workstations, servers and other hosts one by one.
It shows the configuration settings and the patch history. You can see which updates are missing and which settings are weak.
Use it to ask: is each computer set up safely?
Network based: look at the connections
A network based assessment looks at the network as a whole. It finds possible attacks on the network and systems that are weak.
It asks: what can be reached from outside? Which open doors lead to weak systems?
